If I've learned one thing in this industry it's this:

Water Destroys Everything it Touches.

The only variable is how long it will take.  And of course there are a few exceptions to the rule (like certain plastics) but you know what I mean.  If you're reading this page, it's likely that you're experiencing this first hand.

At Sheaffer Mechanical, we are skilled at all levels of plumbing repair and installation.  From well pumps and pressure tanks, to water heaters and kitchen faucets, we've got you covered.

This is what your well pump pressure tank should look like. Stainless Steel fittings are the only way to go nowadays.

All of our materials are purchased locally and we stand behind them 100%.  We use professional plumbing products such as our Rheem Professional series Water Heaters.  You may find Rheem water heaters at the box stores, but they are not the same quality as our professional line.

We also use the most up-to-date and current techniques and materials to ensure long-lasting quality work provided in a more timely manner.  An example is our use of copper press fittings.  Instead of soldering which involves way more time and prep (and fire safety) these fittings use a special tool that permanently crimps them to the copper pipe, resulting in a permanent lifetime, leak-free fitting at a fraction of the cost of soldering.  These fittings can be installed with water running through them, as opposed to soldering which needs to be completely dry in order to achieve a good joint.
